A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Andrea and Ambrose Montera here in Albuquerque, NM. They finally had their first child, Gabriel, and just had to show him off to the world. He was born a week early, and these photos were taken just a week after he was born, so this is about as close to newborn photography as you can get.
Now, admittingly, I have very little experience with newborns. Quite frankly, babies in general kind of scare me. But I took some photos when my niece was born, and I’ve taken some photos for friends and family when they’ve had their children. After the few experiences I’ve had with newborn photography, I’m starting to like it. I mean, their skin is usually perfect, and they’re malleable, so they automatically follow direction better than most people I deal with (kidding, ofcourse).
Anyway, without further adieu, here are some photos of Gabriel, and his parents. Lets welcome this little guy into this bright world.
