This past weekend, I had an itch to shoot, specifically with my new 35mm. I had shot a family session with it, but aside from that, it was still sitting in my bag, untested. For those who know how I shoot technically, this new lens is completely out of ordinary for what I’d typically shoot with, but I bought it cause I wanted to get out of my element.
So I was able to find the lovely model, Soraya Dareth, and we headed to the Bosque, here in Albuquerque to get a few shots with the new lens. I did a couple different styles, and it really pulled through and showed its versatility. Needless to say, I love my new 35mm.

the new stuff with the 35 looks great. im in a similar boat…. RARELY shoot anything less than 70mm. but its a good reminder we all need to get out of our comfort zone every now and again! keep it up!
