When I first moved to Albuquerque, I didn’t know anyone. So I made a personal agreement with myself, to shoot whatever interesting project that came my way. Thats when I got in touch with Eric. He had bought his dream car recently, and wanted top get some photos of it to show off. I hadn’t done a lot in terms of automotive photography, but I figured why not? So I did some research on it the night beforehand and set off to take some nice photos of his car.
We met at his work, in Rio Rancho, NM…as I was so new to the area, that I didn’t even have a clue where to shoot. All I requested is a large empty parkinglot, so that we could have plenty of space to get some rolling photos, and some stationary ones as well.
I really enjoyed shooting the car, as it was more technically based, than extracting personality out of someone. The photos aren’t anything to brag about, but Eric seemed to be happy with them, and I am too, given it was one of my first times really playing around with automotive work.
