As many of you know, while I live in Albuquerque, NM my work as a photographer enables me to travel often. I also work for the largest photography news website in the world, called Fstoppers as an Associate Editor. Well they recently flew me out to New York for a pretty awesome opportunity.
This past weekend was PhotoPlus Expo in New York City, one of the largest photography expos in the world. I had the opportunity to go there this year, and report the entire event, on camera,for the readers at Fstoppers. Not only was this an amazing experience, but it also helped my career and establishing myself as a national photographer, and not just one in Albuquerque.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Albuquerque and so proud to call it my home. Working with the community here is great, but I also love to do commercial photography, something that is not as easy to find here in New Mexico. So I’m hoping to be able to travel to different places, take photos, and come home to ABQ and work here as well.
