Each year, Albuquerque New Mexico has a festival called Light the Night Walk which is put together by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help raise awareness and money for those who are suffering from Leukemia and Lymphoma in the community. Typically, this festival happens in Albuquerque without much publicity at all, so I was happy to help them this year and take photos for the event along side my friend Eric Martinez. Hopefully, my photos will be just one piece of the puzzle and help raise awareness of this event, and will make each year bigger and better.
Survivors from all over New Mexico showed up to show their support and donate money to this brilliant project. Hopefully with events like this, leukemia and lymphoma will be diseases of the past. Check out some of the photos I was able to take at this event, and be sure to be on the look out for any other community projects in the future where you can come and show your support. Events like this really make being a photographer in Albuquerque a special thing. Thank you Eric for inviting me to be apart of this project, and to the community for putting together events like this.
