A couple weeks ago, I was able to assemble a photo session team here in Albuquerque, to take some photos for magazine submission. In the last year in Albuquerque, I’ve been able to put together the most talent team for makeup, hair, video and so on, and this shoot was just a great example of that.
For this shoot, I was able to work with my right hand woman, Kata Baron from The Pretty Committee for Makeup. Dani Ann for hair styling, and was able to get Solve Maxwell, along with Toad Road (an amazing designer boutique here in Albuquerque) to front the wardrobe department. As usual, my good friends Allen and Jesse were able to help put together an incredible BTS video from the session, and my friend Eric was able to help with assisting the shoot and helping make everything so seamless.
Marie Paoli was the muse of choice for this photoshoot, and we were able to find a gorgeous road outside of Albuquerque to photograph on. I wanted to do a commercial/lifestyle session with a cool car, out in the middle of nowhere. Not only were we able to find the perfect road for the shoot, but we found the most beautiful car as well. Curt Jingle was able to loan us his 1969 Camaro in absolutely perfect condition for the shoot. It goes without saying, I fell in love with it out in that desert.
I was doing the photography and editing for the photographs from the session. I was really happy with how everything turned out in the session, and I really think the photographs taken are some of my best to date.
