Recently, I had an opportunity to work with Britney-Rae, of The Pretty Committee, a Make Up Studio here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We went into the shoot with an open mind, and decided on a concept in a very free form session, we just knew we wanted to incorporate wind. She has this gorgeous brick wall within her make up studio, and despite a lack of space, we knew that had to be a backdrop for some head shots.
Her younger sister, Kenna, was able to come in and model for us, and I’m very very happy with the photos we were able to take. Aside from the photos, my friend and fellow photographer, Jennifer Garrett was there to help with a Behind The Scenes video, to be made for my upcoming Pro Series Lecture in Michigan (Details Soon).
I hope to have a nice promo video for you from this session soon, but until then, I hope you can settle for a couple photos. And let me know what you think in the comments below!

Oh my starry eyed suprise…but seriously, great smokey makeup and flowing hair!
Dear Zach, these photos are great with awesome lighting. However, the first one frightened me. I do not like to see up a womans nose. (only kidding, this is the feedback I got for some pictures similar) Love the work!
Hah, Yeah, the angle isn’t perfect, but I loved the movement in the hair.
And I think everyone will agree, #3 is the clear winner in the series 🙂
These are beautifu, maybe the angle is off on the first picture but the model is still flawless! I’d like to have a photo shoot done but I believe you’re quite far away, unless you’re visiting D.C anytime soon!
I’m in Albuquerque, NM…so yes, quite far away.
But the stars may have aligned. I recently got asked if I’d travel to DC for a wedding to shoot. So I’ll let you know if I ever am in DC.
