A month or so back, I was able to shoot yet again with one of my favorite models, Noel. I had discussed with her that I really want to test my photoshop skills, and composite an image into a whole other scene. We came up with an idea to make it just shine with intensity, and was able to find someone local with an assault rifle to use (Many thanks to Ty for the use of his gun by the way). The shoot started with me throwing dirt in her face, and ended with me spending a few hours infront of the computer editing the photos. Because of the time, we only used one of the images that we shot that day, even though we shot for well over an hour. Anyway, my assistant, Adam, decided to film the whole thing, and I finally got it edited a little bit and up on the web. Sorry for the low quality, next time we’ll know better and only film landscape.
Video after the jump
Also, I ended up editing it 4 different ways. We decided on the last one, which is the one used for my port, and available for viewing on flickr, but I figured I’d show the other edits, just to see what all you think.

Good post. I love behind the scenes videos. My background is in video production so I’m always trying to do videos with the work that I do.
I’m sure Noel is a great model but my opinion is that she has not worked with many professional photographers. Her response in the review at 2:15 with her saying that Zach is not like most photographers, that he actually has fun with the shoots … makes me laugh! poor editing …
great idea & final product!
She works a lot actually. I think I just caught her off guard, as the behind the scenes thing was a last minute idea, and I hadn’t discussed it with her before hand. I actually just popped up with the camera, and started asking her questions. No planning needed
